For the first time in Europe, CAPOEIRA A LA UNE partnership is working to describe the profile of the Capoeira trainer as a non-formal educator, and the way his competencies can be validated in different countries, becoming an international reference in line with the international character of Capoeira and its long tradition.

The importance of validation of competencies is growing more and more important in Europe, in order to have an official recognition of knowledge and abilities of the trainers also in this non-formal learning field.

The project goes beyond focusing on the potentiality of Capoeira as trainers for less opportunities young people and describing the related key competencies.
